I'm sitting here listening to Delilah and "These are the Moments" came on. So i automatically start thinking about prom. Sure I should get all excited and be anxious for the dance, granted it is 12 days away, but I don't. It just doesn't seem like prom should be here all ready, or maybe its just that prom planning and getting everything ready is not very glorious. Between pre- and post-prom plans getting all screwed up, people being indecisive, unnecessary drama, having my dress order cancelled because its not in stock, having a dance competition the following morning and then doing all the decorations/tables/planning stuff, I hate to say it, but I'm really not looking forward to prom. I still don't know what i'm wearing, how I'm getting there, what I'm doing after...I think the only thing I do know is that i have a hair appointment at 3:30 (which is kind of late anyway, so theres a good way to start the night on a stressful note). I mean I'm not trying to be pessimistic, but there really isn't anything for me to be happy about right now. I suppose I could just be like the guys and go with the flow, assuming everything will work out, but thats not me....I'm a perfectionist, I need everything in place and all set to go...

well after spending the morning at dance, emptying my basemnt
of water for a good 2 hrs, and then hanging around the house
with mom, my night definitely turned out for the better! :0)

* Last night was the most fun I have ever had a dance!
* The DJ was awesome! (with maybe an exception of 2 songs!) lol
* Everyone looked beautiful! :0)
* Being stuck in the middle of picture lines was so not cool!
* Danced all night long!! most fantastic!
* Post-dance party at my house was nothing less than amazing! :0)
* Close encounters and hour clean-ups only added to the excitment!
* Finally settled down and fell asleep around 500
* Up at 815 for dance definitely ruined the beauty of the night! :0/
So take the photographs, and still frames in your mind.
Hang it on a shelf in good health and good time.
Tattoos of memories and dead skin on trial.
For what it's worth, it was worth all the while.
It's something unpredictable, but in the end is right.
I hope you had the time of your life.

Today Clo and I danced for like 4 hours!! good times! :0) Then I hung around my house for awhile until we went to my grandma's house for dinner. Back home to shower and then out to Providence with Chloe and Steph for some first of the season ice skating at Fleet!! good times! Steph's first time and she didnt fall! go steph! :0) Creepy old man with videocamera and crazy "good skaters" who like to take over the ice! Then back home, but not after circling the parking garage a few times and getting out of the car to pay. haha. Finally home where I showed off my winter ball dress....eeek!! :0) I love it!! It simple - strapless black, but oh i like it so much!! When the babe was done eating Steph and Clo both got to hold her -- she was farting on Steph, ha! Then we had a couple visitors, hehe! Pete and Lou were driving around and managed to find their way into coventry and to my house -- very surprising since they're from Cranston and don't know what Tiogue Ave is! haha. Anyway, they stayed for awhile and Lou was very entertaining and I was very pleased to see my buddy. good times! :0) Now I'm sitting here doing a bunch of nothing, so I think I'll go to bed. Night all.

Hey all!!
I'm down here in sunny Ft. Lauderdale Florida and loving it! My niece was born Thursday, November 20, 2003 at 3:16 p.m.! She weighed 7 lbs. 14 oz. and is the most precious baby ever! I love her to pieces! I can't wait until Christmas when they come to RI so i can show her off to everyone!! :0) Erin and Derek are so happy and the three of them make an adorable family! Well, back to uploading pictures of Fiona!!! :0)
